The process

From sketch to install

    Design

    All of our rug designs can be tailored to your preferences, or we can start entirely from scratch on a new design. We confirm pattern, palette and dimensions.

  • 02

    Materials

    Hand-spun wool, jute, natural dyes, recycled PET, silk, cotton or a unique blend of materials and fabrics are always available. We will match specific pom colors and can create samples to ensure we capture your vision.

  • 03

    Production

    Progress photos at each stage: weaving, washing, finishing.

  • 04

    Delivery

    8-12 weeks. DHL or FedEx, worldwide, direct from the weaving centers.

Your approvals

You approve every step

You sign off before we begin, when your yarn is dyed, while your rug is on the loom, and again before it ships. Photos at every stage, from first sketch to final finish. Nothing moves forward without you.

Woven by artisan cooperatives

We work directly with artisan cooperatives across Morocco, India, Nepal and Mexico. These coops have carried their techniques for generations. Every rug is made by hand, by people paid fairly for their craft, in the place its weave was born.

FAQ

How long does a bespoke rug take?

8-12 weeks from the start of production, plus transit.

Will I see my rug before it ships?

Yes. We send photos from materials through weaving, washing and finishing. The rug ships after your final approval.

Can I customize any rug on the site?

Any lobo rug that isn't vintage can be made in a custom size and colors. Vintage pieces are one of a kind and can't be remade.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide, via DHL or FedEx from the workshop. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Import duties are the buyer's responsibility.
